Yesterday, our team show an English Speech. Everybody is very excellent.

I talked about the polar bears and air-conditioner. Why do I want to say this? Because I happened to see on the news that polar bears were dying out.

Glob warming! Because of this, the arctic ice is disappearing year by year, the ice floes gradually dwindled. And the Polar bear’s habitat is shrinking. What a terrible thing.

And then? What’s going to happen? They can’t find food! So as you can see, they have no power, they are gaunt and hungry. Finally, they had to go ashore to find food. They searched the trash can for good, but they also can’t find food. All they only can do is wait to die. They are dying. The count of Polar bear’s is less and less.

What about us? With the summer hotter and hotter, although we also can’t stand, we have air-conditioner. Many people set the temperature to less 20 degrees. There are even people under the quilts with the air-conditioner on. The lower the temperature set by the air-conditioner, the higher the outdoor temperature, this is a vicious circle.

So, let’s together save them. But what should we do? What can we do? That is what I want to say, I think we can set the temperature higher than 26 degrees in summer, and lower than 20 degrees than winter. Don’t do evil things though they may be insignificant. Don’t give up good things though they may be minor matters.

Last, I want to say the earth doesn’t need to be saved, it is ourselves that need to be saved! If we don’t, sea level will rise, we will be flooded.

No pains，no gains! Keep learning English every day and you will find that you will be very different from your previous self.
